Enrollment

New students must complete an Application Form and submit a non-refundable CI $25 application fee.

Students are responsible for purchasing books and course materials as required.

Examinations, competitions, and public performances must be agreed upon in advance between the student and the teacher.

Requests for a change of instructor, whether recommended by the teacher or requested by the student/parent, will be reviewed and resolved by the Director.

Students are expected to arrive and be picked up on time. The school assumes responsibility for student safety only while they are under the teacher’s supervision in the classroom.

Parents/guardians will be held responsible for any damages caused by the student to school property.

Progress reports are available upon written request, up to twice per calendar year, for students enrolled in regular classes.
Payment

Tuition payment reserves your child’s place at Cayman Music School. All tuition fees must be paid in advance before lessons commence. Lessons will not begin until payment is received.

Tuition is payable per term, in three equal payments due on:

September 1 (Term 1)

January 1 (Term 2)

April 1 (Term 3)

A late fee of CI $50 will apply if tuition is not received by the 20th of the month in which it is due.

Discounts:
-
5% off for second-instrument lessons for the same student.

5% off for lessons taken by a second child from the same family.

10% off for a third child from the same family or the third-instrument lessons.

Group classes and adult lessons are not eligible for discounts.

Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the school.

A CI $50 fee will apply to any returned cheque. Future payments must then be made via online transfer, wire, or cash.

Cayman Music School does not offer refunds for overpayment. Any credit will be applied to future lessons or the next term’s fees.
Missed Lessons

Missed lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled. Cayman Music School assumes no obligation to make up lessons missed due to student absences. Lessons are non-transferable to other family members and cannot be offset against future invoices or liabilities.

To avoid missing a lesson, online lessons are available upon request. Please notify the school in advance to make the necessary arrangements.

All notices of absence or requests to reschedule must be submitted via email to: caymanmusicschool@gmail.com. Teachers do not have control over their individual schedules, and all changes must be coordinated through the school administration.

Lessons cancelled by a teacher will either be rescheduled or conducted by a substitute teacher.

Lessons falling on public holidays will not be refunded. A make-up request may be submitted within two weeks of the holiday for scheduling.

Lessons missed due to hurricanes, acts of nature, or other exceptional circumstances beyond the control of Cayman Music School will not be rescheduled or refunded.
Discontinuance

Students wishing to discontinue lessons must provide at least one month’s notice in writing or email. Tuition for that month must still be paid in full, and lessons will continue during the notice period.

If an account becomes delinquent, parents/guardians will be responsible for all legal, court, and collection fees incurred.
Media Consent

By enrolling at Cayman Music School, you grant permission for photographs and video recordings of your child during lessons, recitals, and events to be used for educational, promotional, and social media purposes by the school, unless you notify us in writing to opt out.
Waiver of Liability

Participation in music lessons, theatre classes, music camp and events is at the student’s and guardian’s own risk. By enrolling, parents/guardians agree to waive all claims against Cayman Music School, its staff, and affiliates for injuries, losses, or damages incurred during instruction, performances, or while on the premises, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
